East Sussex Policy and Development Officers Group
Purpose
- To promote good working relationships between housing policy & development teams in East Sussex, & Brighton & Hove City Council, and the Homes & Communities Agency (HCA)
- To promote good working relationships with RSL development partners in the area
- To consider and respond to Government housing and planning policy consultation papers
- To pool experience and learning on matters of shared interest
- To promote and share good practice, including performance and new initiatives
Membership
- All East Sussex and Brighton Hove City Council local authority policy and development managers and officers.
- Investment Managers of the HCA for the local authorities in the area.
- Other statutory organisations may attend meetings as appropriate
Chair & Minutes
- The Group will be chaired by each of the local authority representatives in turn.
- Minutes will be taken by the local authority chairing the meeting.
Frequency of Meetings
- The Group will meet bi-monthly.
Sub Groups
- Where appropriate, sub groups may be formed to deal with specific topics. These groups will report to the main group
